A guide to using the Academic Support Center

SNHU’s Academic Support Center (ASC) is here to help learners in many ways. We strive to offer services that work for everyone. We offer drop-in tutoring and written feedback for those who have a quick question or who prefer to learn independently.

There are some situations, though, where a synchronous or live sessions with a coach, tutor, or even your peers will be necessary. That’s when group events (like Workshops, Office Hours, and Peer Groups) or 1:1 sessions are the right fit for you.

This guide will show you, step by step, how to enter the Academic Support Center (ASC) in Brightspace and book appointments.

1. Access your course in Brightspace

You must be enrolled in a course to use the ASC. For an overview of Brightspace, including how to find your course, click here. You can find us in MySNHU, or, go directly to your course and click “Academic Support” on the top navigation bar.
